The California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs launches new website

California – The California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs (CAPIAA), whose mission is to elevate the political, economic, and social issues of Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) by contributing to and strengthening how state government addresses the needs, issues, and concerns of the diverse and complex Asian and Pacific Islander American communities, is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, https://capiaa.ca.gov.

With our Executive Director on board and the capacity to expand services to California, CAPIAA aims to make necessary information for and about AAPI Californians available and accessible to all Californians. The new website will allow CAPIAA to better communicate with Californians and serve as an introduction to CAPIAA’s work by featuring information about CAPIAA, including its commissioners, policy priorities, advocacy tools, upcoming research and reports, and ways to directly reach CAPIAA staff.

“We are excited the launch of this new website will improve our communication channels with state entities and all California to uplift the political, economic, and social issues of AAPI Californians face, as well as highlight equitable solutions we must all work towards” stated Nkauj Iab Yang, executive director. “We will continue to update the website with upcoming reports, researches, and necessary information so please feel free to visit our website regularly.”
