Afghan Community Listening Session
About the Listening Session
The California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs (CAPIAA), in partnership with the Afghan-American Foundation (AAF), invites Afghan community members, leaders, advocates, professionals, students, and families to participate in an Afghan Community Listening Session.
This gathering will provide an opportunity to share experiences, discuss community priorities, highlight contributions, and identify opportunities to strengthen support for Afghan communities across California. Input gathered during the session will help inform ongoing conversations and future efforts to better understand and address the needs of Afghan Californians.
Attendance is limited and advance registration is required. Due to venue capacity, only the first 50 registered participants will be guaranteed a seat. Once capacity is reached, additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available.
We encourage interested participants to RSVP as soon as possible to secure their spot. https://bit.ly/AfghanCommunityListeningSession
We look forward to hearing directly from community members and engaging in a meaningful dialogue about the future of Afghan communities throughout California.
