Zain Abbas, Budget and Operations Analyst

Zain Abbas combines a background in healthcare and business administration with a passion for helping others. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, providing him with a strong understanding of communication and behavior. Zain leveraged this knowledge while working as a Behavior Technician at various ABA Therapy Institutes. 

His dedication to public service is evident from his prior experience as a Classification and Performance Analyst with the State of California’s Department of Health Care Services. This role honed his analytical skills and ability to navigate complex systems. 

Zain recently completed his Master of Business Administration at Sacramento State University, demonstrating his commitment to growth and his desire to further utilize his skills in a broader business context. He currently applies his expertise as a Budget and Operation’s Analyst at the Commission on Asian & Pacific Islander American Affairs. 

Outside of work, Zain prioritizes spending quality time with family. He’s also a dedicated foodie, always eager to explore new cuisines, and a passionate traveler, constantly seeking new adventures.
